About us
RedCAT, the Lancashire Centre for Alternative Technologies, was pump-primed by investment from the GETTING BUILDING FUND – an initiative developed by East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce. Founded in December 2019, RedCAT operates in collaboration with regional and national bodies such as AMRC NW and the Environmental Agency, as well as innovation leaders in the low carbon sector.
RedCAT offers both financial and research and development support to accelerate the commercialisation of low carbon technologies, while RedCAT ventures is the investment support vehicle that guides companies through commercialisation and securing business investment.
