Ian Trow

Ian Trow is the UK & NW Europe Business Lead for Quad Plus, an international USA owned Systems Integrator and OEM Machine Builder, working across the Energy and Industrial sectors.

Ian is also Founder and Director of Energy and Automation – consulting engineers for industrial energy and automation, product-stream management and product-development. For the last 10 years Ian has led the Energy & Automation business and worked at the coalface with SME’s providing support for both medium and small-scale organisations, across multiple industry sectors throughout the UK. Ian has a proven record of influencing change, growth and profitability at a global and local level.

Ian contributes with technical knowledge in the areas of product and process innovation and is expert at bringing new ideas to market. He has particular experience in New Product Introduction in terms of helping shape the innovation ideas by first quantifying the market opportunity, the commercial profitability, the carbon footprint aspect and then defining the commercialisation of the development, manufacturing and launch planning.

Ian’s goal is to help SME’s embed a unique approach to a disruptive innovation leadership within their business, to help the organisation large or small to better understand the risks, challenges, opportunities; to support the development of a commercialisation strategy that enables the introduction of new Clean-Tech products and processes that allow the SME to become more productive and gain a competitive edge in the future low carbon and sustainable economy.
